Wenn ich Empfehlungen aussprechen darf:
  • Smile in Your Sleep
  • Discovering the Waterfront
Kommen beide vom selben Album wie "My Heroine" ... eigentlich ist das ganze Album grandios. Die beiden folgenden Alben hab ich zwar auch, aber bislang kam keins mehr an dieses ran.

"Diadem" finde ich sowas von klasse. Das zeigt den ganzen Tussis doch mal schön die lange Nase. :D

Auf der Suche nach dem Original-Video bin ich gestern Abend hier drüber gestolpert: CLICK

Naturaufnahmen, die meiner Meinung in Richtung Al Gore's "Eine unbequeme Wahrheit" gehen ... mit dem Video verwandelt sich der Klimax des Songs zusammen mit dem Text eindeutig in ein sehr unschönes Gefühl in der Magengrube :(

Ja, das Album ist die Wucht, ich weiß.
Ich hab' bis jetzt nur die Metal Hammer-Ausgabe besessen, aber jetzt mal zugeschlagen. Die Metalcamp-Aufnahmen sind zwar leider von minderwertiger Qualität (ja, ich weiß, schmutziger Sound klingt "more live" als weichgespülte und auf Hochglanz polierte Livesongs), aber nichtsdestoweniger mag ich das kleine Schlagzeugsolo vor "the somber lay" - wäre ich bloß nicht so unfähig, meine Hände und Füße getrennt voneinander zu bewegen, würde ich auch noch Schlagzeig lernen...

Kommt das nächste Eluveitie-Album nicht auch die Tage? "Thousandfold" - die neue Single - macht zumindest Lust auf mehr.

(Ich bin ja nicht so der Fan vom Paganfest, aber wenn die Jungs und Mädels mal als Headliner auf Tour durch Deutschland gehen, bin ich mit großer Sicherheit dabei.)

Ich habe mich schon bei der letzten Bandprobe auf höchst erniedrigende Art und Weise beim vermeintlich einfachen Trommeln ("jaa, mach' mal, ist gar nicht schwer - Hi-Hat hier, Tom-Tom da...") blamiert, da bleibe ich lieber bei der Harfe. *lacht* Das bekomme ich wenigstens noch halbwegs hin.
