Nenn mir eine Platte ... einen Song ... von Velvet Revolver, an dem Axl Rose beteiligt war.

Slash hatte sich damals nach heftigten Streitigkeiten von GN'R getrennt, nachdem Axl den Ego-Trip seines Lebens gefahren hat und alle Rechte und Einnahmen nur noch für sich beansprucht hat ... alle anderen wären ja nur Musiker. Nach dem weniger erfolgreichen Projekt "Slash's Snakepit" (dessen Debut ich wärmstens empfehlen kann) gab es dann Velvet Revolver. Axl war da schon drauf und dran "Chinese Democracy" zu planen ... was ja nur dezent gefühlte 30 Jahre gedauert hat.

Fazit: Velvet Revolver hat nüscht mit Axl zu tun ... und weggelaufen ist er auch nicht ... alles nachzulesen im Titel Slash, welchen ich zufällig erst im Dezember gelesen habe ^^

Das meinte ich nicht.
Ich meinte, erst löst sich G N´ R auf, (Hauptgrund wohl Axel) dann Gründen sie Velvet Revolver (ich weiß, vorher noch Snakedingsbums) und auch da geht´s in die Hose wegen
dem Sänger (oder evtl. in die Hose - weg ist Scott ja schon)
Das Axel nichts mit Velvet zu tun hat/hatte, weiß ich :)

Bin gespannt wie es weitergeht, haben sie schon nen neuen Sänger in aussicht, weißt du da was?

Natürlich. Einen Zufall will ich das ganze auch nicht nennen.
Und ich bin auch froh das es so kam, ich mochte G N´R damals sehr und war schon erschüttert als
man sich trennte.

Von daher höre ich Velvet Revolver sehr gerne und hoffe das sie wieder jemanden als Frontmann finden.

Ich hatte zuvor nur die CD "Auf Deinen Schwingen" und kannte ein paar einzelne weitere Songs (welche ich ja nun auch gekauft habe). "Es tut mir leid" gefiel mir persönlich gar nicht, aber danke für den Tipp :)
