... bisher bin ich echt enttäuscht vom vierten Langspieler der ehemaligen MathMetaller ... mal schauen ob man sich noch reinhören kann, aber bislang würde ich für diese Platte keine Kaufempfehlung aussprechen

Großartiger Horror-Punk/ Hard Rock mit Partyfaktor ... schade, dass die Platte nicht schon vor zwei Wochen zu Halloween in Deutschland verfügbar war.

Ein wenig arg Pop-Rock, aber für zwischendurch im Hintergrund nicht schlecht ... außerdem mag ich den aktuellen Titel "Gotta be Somebody" sehr ...

Nachdem ich letzte Woche vom Live-Album so begeistert war, hab ich mir heute direkt noch das aktuelle Album des Horror-Rockers eingesackt. Definitiv weniger punkiger als die alten Scheiben, aber dafür auch um einiges grooviger!

Schon ganz cool, aber das Debut gefällt mir besser ...

Ich lege jedem den Song "Hero of War" von diesem Album ans Herz!

Nach den letzten Enttäuschungen klingen The Offspring endlich wieder wie früher!!!

Genau deiner Meinung!Ich lege jedem den Song "Hero of War" von diesem Album ans Herz!
Dieses Heldentum der Amerikaner bringt aber solche Probleme zustande!
Man kann nur hoffen, dass sich das Denken der Amerikaner in ihrer neuen "Ära" ändert.
Bin heute noch froh, nie gedient zu haben.

Durch eine Empfehlung bin ich da auf wunderbaren Death/ Thrash-Metal im Stil aus meiner direkten Nachbarstadt gestoßen. Der Stil erinnert stark an One Man Army & the Undead Quartet ... feine Scheibe.
[itunes]Fall Out Boy[/itunes] - Folie à Deux
Geht nahtlos in den Vorgänger "Infinity on High" über. Nichts besonderes aber auch nicht schlecht und somit ein gutes Stück Musik für nebenbei. Gefällt.
... dazu noch ein paar einzelne Songs von Stephan Weidner, die nicht auf dem Album "Höher, Schneller, Weidner" enthalten waren ...

Wen die religiösen Texte nicht stören...Tip!
In dem Fall würde ich auch meine neue Errungenschaft empfehlen:
[itunes]BRIAN "HEAD" WELCH[/itunes] - Save Me from Myself
Brian war der Lead-Gitarrist der NuMetal-Begründer KoRn, bis er 2005 aus der Band ausstieg und seinen Gott gegebenen Weg ging. Mittlerweile ist er zurück und hat ein Soloalbum mitgebracht (+ zwei sehr gute Bücher). Die Musik erinnert sehr stark an die Anfänge von KoRn, was mir persönlich besser gefällt als die weichgespülten Songs der letzten Alben.

Die Jungs machen klasse Musik mit sinnvollem Text, aber ich kann sie nicht zuordnen...
Wikipedia hat sie unter Punkrock, Hardcore-Punk, Melodic Hardcore gelistet. Kein Plan wo genau, aber die grobe Richtung sollte zumindest schonmal stimmen
