Geheimtipp für alle die, die nicht nur Musik hören die man dank eines Plattenvertrags an jeder Ecke kaufen kann:
[itunes]5Bugs[/itunes] aus Berlin. Super sympatische Punk/Rock-Band aus der Hauptstadt und definitiv eine große Adresse für eine perfekte Live-Show. Ich hab die Jungs jetzt ein paar Jahre auf diversen Auftritten in meiner Umgebung verfolgt, bin großer Befürworter der beiden selbst produzierten Alben und freu mir momentan ein zweites Po-Loch wenn ich daran denke, dass die Tage das neue Album "Best Off" erscheinen wird

Ist aber nicht das aktuellste!
Das aktuellste muss ja auch nicht immer unbedingt das beste sein
"Discovering the Waterfront" find ich schon besser als "Arrivals & Departures" ... ich find aber auch KoRn's "Follow the Leader" um längen besser als alles was danach kam ... You're seeking heaven but you're not allowed in

Wenn Dir das so zusagt, hast Du schon da [iTunes] A Day to Remember - Homesick[/iTunes] mal reingehört? Finde ich um Längen besser!

Naaaaaaaaa ... würd ich musikalisch nichtmals miteinander vergleichen. Songs wie "Holdin' it Down for the Underground" oder "I'm Made of Wax, ..." klingen für mich verdammt nach Atreyu-Wannabe mit den Chor-ähnlichen Shouts zwischendurch. Allerdings mag ich den Sound von Atreyu sehr gerne, weshalb ich mir die Platte mal im Auge behalte und sicherlich bei einem meiner nächsten Kaufrausche berücksichtige
Die Silverstein-Platte hat für mich einen besonderen ideellen Stellenwert, da sie mich an jemand (für mich) besonderes erinnert

Allerdings mag ich den Sound von Atreyu sehr gerne
Na dann, kannst Du mit dieser Platte gar nichts falsch machen!
Wenn wir aber einmal bei den Tips sind, [iTunes]The Human Abstract - Midheaven[/iTunes] für mich eine der besten Sachen die ich mir in letzter Zeit so zugelegt habe!
Wenn ich mir so deinen Geschmack ansehe, müsste die eigentlich noch vor Atreyu, meinem Vorschlag und der Silverstein liegen!
Absolutes Meisterwerk! Könnte ich mir 20 mal am Tag anhören!

Sehr zu empfehlen wenn du so auf Future Pop stehst
Wie kommst Du dabei auf Future-Pop? Die klingen doch 1:1 wie Depeche Mode zu ihren besten Zeiten in den 80ern
Also eher der New Wave-Era zuzuordnen ......schade das Chrisspy schon wieder ausgeloggt ist, hatte mich jetzt schon auf was gefreut!
Ich bin nicht ausgeloggt, das Forum zeigt mir nur oftmals nicht als online an, selbst wenn ich im Forum unterwegs bin. War mir allerdings nie 'ne Meldung wert, da ich dadurch nicht in der Benutzung des Boards eingeschränkt bin.
Zu "The Human Abstract":
Die 30 Sekunden Anspielen des Songs "A Violent Strike" haben mich sowohl stimmlich, als auch musikalisch sofort an A7X erinnert, viele andere Songs gehen für mich eher ein Stück weit in Richtung von Funeral for a Friend - auch wenn dabei die Doublebass-Teppiche nicht so ganz passen. Ist alles definitiv für mich hörbar, allerdings nicht Tag-ein-Tag-aus, da ich musikalisch eigentlich in ganz anderen Gewässern schwimme

Ursprünglich im Electro-Umfeld beheimatet, tendierte die Band mit ihren zuletzt veröffentlichten Werken in Richtung Future Pop, mit Anleihen aus Trip Hop, Ambient, Dance und Drum’n’Bass.
