Navigon Europa auf dem Touch 2G mit ext. GPS-Empfänger?

Seit 2004 hat sich viel getan, der iPod per se ist nicht mehr up-to-date, so wie dieses Forum. Um die Informationen nicht zu verlieren ist das Forum jetzt Read-Only für Gäste, Registrierungen sind aufgrund der hohen Anzahl an Spam-Accounts nichts mehr möglich.   • Navigon Europa auf dem Touch 2G mit ext. GPS-Empfänger?

    Ich habe erfolgreich per Roqy meinen externen GPS-Empfänger am iPod Touch 2g aktiviert. Nun habe ich Navigon Europa aus dem Appstore geladen. Wenn ich nun Navigon installieren will (per Synchronisation mit iTunes 9.01, OSX 10.5.11) fängt es an und bricht nach ca. 10 sekunden ab.
    Was mache ich falsch? Kann ich Navigon "manuell" installieren - per z.B. Terminal?

    P.S.: Die Lite (Demo-)Version ging problemlos...

  • Sorry, habe mich vertan: OSX 10.5.8.
    Warum kann man Navigon nicht zum laufen bringen...GPS geht ja angeblich auch nicht...
    Weiterhin funktionieren "OffMaps" und z.B. "G-Spot" und "G-Park" mit dem GPS-Signal - aber die können eben nicht navigieren.
    Ich weiß dann zwar wo ich bin, aber nicht wie ich wohin komme?
    "Roqy-BT" musste ich auch manuell installieren.
    Ahja: OS 3.1.2 Jailbreak.

    hier mal ein Weg:

    nstructions: how to manually install iphone apps which are not compatible with ipod touch:
    This instruction is MAC only, but should be self explanatory for windows users :)
    1. Google for a free plist editor (I use Plist Editor Pro) and install it.
    2. Buy and download your favorite gps app from itunes (obviously on your computer, not your ipod)
    3. Locate your .ipa file you downloaded and change ".ipa" to ".zip"
    4. double click the zip file to unarchive the folder.
    5. Open up the folder and locate the file "iTunesMetadata.plist" (This may be in the folder or you may have to navigate to the .app file, right click and show package contents and then locate it there)
    6. Copy and paste the iTunesMetadata.plist file to your desktop
    7. Start your Plist editor application, then click file, open, then open the iTunesMetadata.plist file
    8. Scroll down to the line that says "softwareSupportedDeviceIds" (you may have to click an arrow next to this line)
    9. There will be a column labeled "value" to the right of this line, and this value will equal "2"
    10. Change this value to equal "1"
    11. Click file, save
    12. drag this new iTunesMetadata.plist file back to where you originally found it (Replace the file if needed)
    13. ***this is important*** close all of you windows to get back to your desktop
    14. open up the folder which you unarchived in step 4
    15. Highlight everything in this folder, right click, choose compress # items (# may be 2 or 3) ******do NOT compress the original folder on your desktop****
    16. You will see a file called "Archive.zip"
    17. Drag this file to your desktop and rename it "Appname.ipa" (replace Appname with the actual application name)
    18. Drag this file to your iTunes applications, Sync your iPod and you're good to go


    Der andere würde über Installous zum reinen installieren gehen.

    umbenennen reicht ja auch nicht. Mußt ja die Datei noch bearbeiten und dann wieder packen usw.

    Sonst eben über installous. Also erst die ipa komplett per SSH auf den iPod in den Installous Ordner schieben und dann über Downloads in Installous installieren.

    Eventuel geht auch das Du die Datei in zip umbenennst und entpackst und dann den navigon.app order in /var/stash/applications.pwn schiebst und ein respring machst.
