Ubutu 10.04 Thread

Seit 2004 hat sich viel getan, der iPod per se ist nicht mehr up-to-date, so wie dieses Forum. Um die Informationen nicht zu verlieren ist das Forum jetzt Read-Only für Gäste, Registrierungen sind aufgrund der hohen Anzahl an Spam-Accounts nichts mehr möglich.     Hallo Community!
    Ich habe ein Problem.
    Gestern habe ich mir Ubuntu 10.04 auf den Rechner gemacht!
    Alles kein Problem, sieht auch schön aus.
    Nur wie bekomme ich WLAN hin?
    Mir werden keine Netze angezeigt.
    Wie schaffe ich, dass ich WLAN habe?

    - Ich habe gegooglet!
    Allerdings werde ich daraus nicht schlau.

    Ich bitte um Hilfe.

    ich denke , dass die benötigten angaben unter "netzwerkdienste" fallen.

  • Das verwirrt mich etwas...
    Die angegebenen Dinge gehören zu der LAN-Karte. Allerdings verwundert es mich etwas, dass du Gigabi-Karten (2?) drinnen hat, obwohl lt. einer kurzen Google-Suche nur das 100mbit-Netzwerk standardmäßig drinnen ist. Aber egal.
    Soweit ich das jetzt gefunden habe hat das dell latitude x300 eine Intel 2100 Pro Wireless WLAN-Karte drinnen. Und soweit ich das gelesen habe, ist der passende Treiber dazu bereits im Linux-Kernel integriert. Führe mal
    iwconfig
    im Terminal aus und poste das Ergebnis.

    wlan geht nicht.
    per LAN kabel komme ich aber ins internet.

  • könnte es sein, dass du die wlan karte vielleicht am lappi manuell mit einem schalter aktivieren musst, oder im netzwerkeinstellungsmenu?
    zumindest sind die w-lan karten standartmäßig ausgeschaltet, wenn man sein BS neu aufsetzt.

    sonst weis ich auch nicht weider.

    und was ist, wenn sie in der winxp software aktiviert ist und in der ubuntusoftware deaktiviert ist?
